Katamine meets Czech ambassador

AMMAN — Tourism Minister Nidal Katamine and Czech Ambassador to Jordan Petr Hladík on Tuesday discussed means to boost cooperation in tourism.

Discussions focused on promoting Jordan in the Czech Republic for potential visitors.

Some 1,586 tourists from the Czech Republic have visited Jordan so far this year, Katamine said, registering a rise from 1,319 in 2013.
