Justice Ministry, Bar Association sign MoU to support victims of human trafficking

AMMAN — The Ministry of Justice and the Jordan Bar Association on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding to support victims of human trafficking.
Signed by Vice Chairman of the National Committee for the Prevention of Human Trafficking, Secretary General of the Ministry for Judicial Affairs, Judge Saad Al Louzi, and Bar President Yahya Abu Abboud, the agreement aims to institutionalise legal services in the fight against human trafficking to ensure that victims have access to litigation advice and legal representation in courts, according to a statement made available to The Jordan Times.
