AMMAN — The Judicial Council on Wednesday launched a comprehensive training programme addressing issues related to environment and water that will last until the end of March.
The programme includes workshops and training courses to build the capacity of law enforcement personnel, assist attorneys general and judges specialised in water and environment issues, according to a council statement.
In its first phase, the training targets administrative and legal personnel at the Water Authority of Jordan and its affiliated companies.
Some 250 people are expected to participate in the workshops, which are supported by USAID-funded governance project.
