AMMAN — The Jordanian Seismological Observatory (JSO) on Tuesday recorded three earthquakes in the Dead Sea area measuring 3.2, 2.1 and 1.9 on the Richter scale.
JSO Director Ghassan Sweidan said that the earthquakes were recorded at 5:05am, 9:46am at a depth of nine kilometres, and 10:43am at a depth of four kilometres, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Sweidan pointed out that earthquakes are common in this area, stressing that there is nothing to be concerned about.
