Journalist election coverage training concludes

AMMAN — A course to develop journalists’ capabilities in local administration and the elections of local, municipal and governorate councils, coorganised by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and Al Rai Centre for Studies and Media Training, concluded on Thursday.Resident Representative of the Foundation Edmund Ratka, who handed the certificates tothe course participants, stressed the importance of the event in increasing the capability of journalists and media students to cover elections, Al Rai Arabic daily reported.

Al Rai Editor-in-Chief Khaled Shugran highlighted the importance of continuous training through the foundation to develop the capabilities of journalists and university students. The Jordan Press Foundation (Al Rai) Director General Jehad Al Share praised the continuous cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and media support through adopting and supporting specialised media courses on elections.
