Jordan’s oil bill increases 3.1% — CBJ

AMMAN — The Kingdom’s oil bill increased by 3.1 per cent in the first half of 2021 compared with the same period of last year, the Department of Statistics (DoS) announced on Wednesday.

According to DoS figures, cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the oil bill in the January-June period increased to JD729.9 million compared with JD707 million during the same period of 2020.

Crude oil topped the list of oil imports of the Kingdom with JD311 million, followed by JD160 million for diesel and lubricants with JD12 million.
