AMMAN — Jordan's airspace remains safe and air traffic is operating normally without restrictions or disruptions, the Civil Aviation Regulatory commission (CARC) said on Saturday.

CARC Chief Commissioner Daifallah Farajat said that recent adjustments to the schedules of some flights were the resultof operational conditions and precautionary measures adopted by authorities in destination countries, rather than any restrictions or procedures at Jordanian airports.

He said that all decisions regarding the operation of Jordanian flights are subject to regular reviews conducted in coordination withthe relevant authorities to ensure thesafety and continuity of air travel.

Providing the latest operational updates for Gulf destinations, Farajat said that Kuwait has temporarily suspended flights as a precautionary measure based on the current security assessment, making it the only destination currently affected.

He added that Bahrain has resumed air traffic after a three-day precautionary suspension, with flights returning to normal operations.

Flights to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Qatar continue to operate according to approved schedules without operational restrictions, he said.

Farajat urged travellers to remain in contact with their airlines and check for any updates to flight schedules before heading to the airport.
