Jordanian peacekeepers leave for UN's Mali mission

AMMAN — The rapid deployment force Mali 3 on Thursday left the Kingdom to participate in the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilisation Mission in Mali (MINUSMA).
The force personnel were seen off by Assistant Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff for Operations and Training Brig. Gen. Mahmoud Sawaer and Director of Military Operations Brig. Gen. Hassan Shanatweh, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Force commander Col. Ibrahim Mheirat delivered a briefing about the preparations to enable the force to implement its tasks effectively.
