Jordanian-Palestinian company to market agricultural products holds first board meeting

AMMAN — The Jordanian-Palestinian company to market agricultural products on Thursday held its first board meeting, in the attendance of Minister of Agriculture Khaled Hneifat and his Palestinian counterpart, Riyad Al Attari.

The company is meant to improve the agriculture sector, Hneifat said, noting that the company’s board of directors serve on a voluntary basis, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The Agricultural Risk Fund is the prominent contributor from the Jordanian side, he said.Attari expressed appreciation for Jordan’s efforts in support of the Palestinian farmers.
