AMMAN — A Jordanian citizen has been shot dead in the US, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Daifallah Fayez said on Thursday.
Fayez told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that the Jordanian embassy in Washington has informed the ministry about the killing of the young man, who was found dead with a gunshot wound outside his shop on Friday in St. Louis City. The police have not yet arrested the perpetrator, he added.
The deceased also held US nationality and lived with his immediate relatives, who have not yet decided whether to bury him in the US or Jordan, according to the ministry.
