AMMAN — The Foreign Ministry is in contact with the family of the Jordanian child, Mayar Anka, who is receiving treatment in the UAE, according to ministry spokesperson Daifallah Fayez.
Noting that communications are made through the Kingdom's embassy in Abu Dhabi, Fayez said that periodical reports related to her health condition have been provided to the ministry by Jordan’s Ambassador to the UAE Jumaa Abbadi.
Fayez attributed the girl's stay in the Gulf country to her family willingness to complete her treatment in the UAE. Fayez added that the ministry has informed the family about the necessary arrangements put in place for her return on a flight scheduled for July 27. Her parents have confirmed that this date is appropriate, according to the statement.
