CAIRO — The parliamentary delegation which was due to visit Gaza on Wednesday decided to delay its trip to the strip as a result of security conditions in northern Sinai.
Yihya Saud, head of the Lower House Palestine Committee and the delegation, said the deputies were supposed to leave Egypt on Wednesday but the Jordanian embassy in Cairo advised them to postpone the visit due to security concerns.
The visit aims to express solidarity with the people of Gaza, Saud said.
