‘Jordanian flag to be raised at Ottawa municipality’

OTTAWA — Jordan’s flag will be raised at the municipal building of Canada’s capital, Ottawa, for the first time on Monday as part of the Jordanian embassy’s celebration of Independence Day, according to Ambassador to Canada Bashir Zu’bi.

He said the move comes after His Majesty King Abdullah’s recent visit to Canada.
