Jordanian community in hurricane’s path safe — embassy

AMMAN — The Jordanian embassy in Washington On Friday said that it had checked on the Jordanian community and students at universities in three states (North and South Carolina and Virginia) being affected by Hurricane Florence.
The embassy said that all Jordanians in these states are safe, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Embassy staff called on Jordanians there to leave until the hurricane passes. The embassy offered Jordanians services related to travel reservations and necessary residency under such circumstances.
