Jordanian candidate wins presidency of Arab League anti-terror team

AMMAN — Jordanian candidate Brig. Gen. Amjad Hussami on Monday won the presidency of the Arab League’s anti-terror team for two years, renewable, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The elections were held on the sidelines of the Arab League Council’s permanent representatives meeting. The Jordanian candidate was competing with three other candidates from Saudi Arabia, Algeria and Iraq.
