Jordanian business delegation to visit Thailand

AMMAN — The Thai embassy in Jordan and the Jordanian-Thai Friendship Association will organise a business trip to Thailand for 31 Jordanian business people between May 17 and 24, according to an embassy statement released Thursday.

The trip includes exploring the possibility of increasing the volume of trade cooperation, as well as attending the Thai food and beverage industry exhibition “Thaifex 2015” and the “Thailand Rice convention 2015”.

Thai Ambassador to Jordan Apichart Phetcharatana and Chairman of the Jordanian-Thai Friendship Association Maher Shakhatreh will be leading the delegation.

The embassy has also arranged for the delegates to pay courtesy calls on the foreign affairs and commerce ministers of Thailand, the statement added.
