Jordanian banking sector faces no repercussions from Silicon Valley Bank, Signature Bank failures — CBJ

AMMAN — The Central Bank of Jordan on Thursday denied any negative repercussions on the Jordanian banking sector as a result of the financial situation of Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank.
In a statement released, the bank said: "In light of the Central Bank's continuous monitoring of the situations of Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank, as well as monitoring the banks operating in the Kingdom, it has been revealed that Jordanian banks do not have any deposits, investments, or financial transactions with any of the mentioned banks," the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
