Jordanian awarded 4th Sheikha Fatima int’l award of Arab youth

AMMAN — UAE Vice President and Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Zayed on Monday awarded Yara Mari from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Jordan University of Science and Technology with the 4th Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak International Award of Arab Youth, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

According to a statement released by the university, Mari was honoured for her distinguished project on “recovering oil spills in the seas and oceans”, which showcases a whole system for oil leakage treatment and a solution to the leakage problem.
