AMMAN — Jordanian Ambassador to Turkey Ismail Rifai on Tuesday presented his credentials to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as the Kingdom’s non-resident ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary in Kiev.
During the ceremony that took place in the presidential palace, Rifai conveyed His Majesty King Abdullah’s greetings to Zelensky and his wishes of further progress and prosperity to the Ukrainian people, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
For his part, the Ukrainian president conveyed his greetings to His Majesty and wished the Kingdom and the Jordanian people further progress and prosperity. Rifai also met with senior Ukrainian officials and discussed means to develop relations between the two countries in various fields.
