Jordan welcomes ‘successful’ Bahraini polls

AMMAN — Jordan on Sunday welcomed the success of the Bahraini parliamentary and municipal elections, deeming them as a “step forward in the political and democratic life of Bahrain”.

Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications and Government Spokesperson Mohammad Momani congratulated the Bahraini government and people, noting that these elections reflect Bahrainis’ commitment to democracy and political reform.
