AMMAN — The Jordan Valley Authority, in cooperation with the Public Security Directorate (PSD), has implemented a campaign to crack down on violations on land surrounding the Wadi Shuaib Dam, which put citizens' lives at risk.
The authority, in a statement on Monday, highlighted the danger of water sources, notably the Jordan Valley's water sources, including the dams and the King Abdullah Canal, which are not designed for swimming. The statement added that violations against state-owned lands and water facilities are a punishable offense, and put people's lives at risk.
