Jordan, Tunisia discuss police cooperation

AMMAN — Public Security Department (PSD) Director Gen. Tawfiq Tawalbeh on Monday met with Tunisian Ambassador to Jordan Afifah Mallah and discussed ways to enhance cooperation, especially in the field of specialised police training.

Tawalbeh said the PSD is always working on developing its performance, welcoming the participation of Tunisian police cadres in its training courses, according to a PSD statement.

Mallah commended PSD’s role in raising awareness against extremist ideologies.
