AMMAN — Jordan is set to take part in the seventh Brussels Conference on Supporting the Future of Syria and the Region, organised by the European Union.
The Brussels-hosted conference, taking place on Wednesday and Thursday, aims to ensure support for both the Syrian people and the host countries, including Jordan, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The European Union announced that the ministerial meeting will take place on Thursday. The meeting will be preceded by a dialogue day, which is meant to bring together civil society representatives from Syria and beyond, stakeholders from various regions, and decision-makers. The discussions will revolve around issues concerning Syria and the broader region, as well as pressing humanitarian and resilience challenges.
