Jordan shopping festival to open on July 15

AMMAN — The Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC) on Sunday announced the “first Jordan shopping festival”, to be launched on July 15. An ACC statement quoted Issa Murad, the chamber’s president, as saying that the month-long festival will include participation from the public and private sectors and also feature cultural events in all governorates.

The event, which coincides with the summer tourism influx, aims at enhancing trade, promoting national products and presenting Jordan as a safe shopping destination for visitors, the statement said.
