Jordan ranks 56th in 2023 Global Corruption Index

AMMAN — Jordan ranked 56th among 196 countries that were listed on the 2023 Global Corruption Index, according to the Global Risk Profile (GRP) Company. According to the GRP website, Jordan scored 37.25 points and was categorised as low-level risk. The report indicated that the index's results were based on 11 sources for collecting data, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. These sources are the UN, Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, the World Bank, the Financial Action Task Force, Transparency International, the Global Initiative, World Justice Project, the Financial Intelligence Unit of the Basel Institute on Governance, the International Budget Partnership and the World Economic Forum.
