Jordan radio, TV corporation marks 48th anniversary

AMMAN — Deputising for Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour, Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications Mohammad Momani on Wednesday night attended the 48th anniversary celebrations of the Jordan Radio and Television Corporation (JRTVC).

Corporation Director General Mohammad Tarawneh referred to JRTVC’s role in conveying the national identity by broadcasting political events, news and miscellaneous programmes around the clock, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Celebrations included showing a video that highlighted JRTVC’s history since its establishment in 1968 until now.
