AMMAN — The Jordan Phosphate Mines Company (JPMC) has been awarded a Recognised for Excellence (R4E) certificate by the King Abdullah II Centre for Excellence (KACE), the official representative of the European Foundation for Quality Management in the Kingdom.
The company achieved a four-star rating according to the new Excellence model of 2020, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The certificate was granted to the company in recognition of its competence in seizing opportunities, facing challenges, and meeting the needs of its stakeholders.
JPMC Chairman Mohammad Thneibat received the R4E certificate from KACE CEO Ibrahim Rawabdeh. Thneibat emphasised the commitment of His Majesty King Abdullah to achieve excellence in national institutions, aiming for leadership and fulfilling the requirements of the Economic Modernisation Vision.
Rawabdeh mentioned that the company is the first Jordanian company operating in the mining and phosphate fertiliser manufacturing sector, and it is the fifth Jordanian company to receive the R4E certificate.
