Jordan, Palestine discuss agricultural cooperation

AMMAN — The Jordanian Palestinian Agriculture Products Marketing Company (JPACO) on Thursday embarked on contacting the two countries' various agricultural sectors to help them overcome challenges.

According to a JPACO statement, cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, Company Director General Aladine Abulkhair met with a number of vegetable and fruit farmers and exporters, where a JPACO team presented a briefing on its main goals, its action mechanism and the importance of its role in developing the Jordanian and Palestinian agricultural sectors.

The team also expressed the company’s readiness to support farmers, producers and exporters to advance the agricultural sector's exports in both countries to reach global markets.

Abulkhair said the company is working within a roadmap, and a direct follow-up by Minister of Agriculture Khalid Hneifat.
