Jordan offers condolences to Austria following fatal school shooting

AMMAN —The Foreign Ministry on Tuesday voiced solidarity with Austria, following a deadly shooting at a school in the city of Graz earlier in the day.

Ministry Spokesperson Sufian Qudah reiterated the Kingdom’s support for the Austrian government and its firm rejection of all forms of violence, particularly those targeting civilians and educational institutions.

Qudah extended Jordan’s heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Austria, as well as to the families of the victims. He also wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the attack, according to a ministry statement.
