Jordan International Short Film Festival to begin today

AMMAN — The Jordan International Short Film Festival 2017 starts today at the Royal Cultural Centre under the patronage of Culture Minister Nabih Shuqum, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Wednesday.
The week-long festival will feature films from Jordan, the UAE, Egypt, India, France, Italy, Spain, China, Australia, Brazil, Britain, Kosovo, Sweden, Romania and the Netherlands. Director Ahmed Al Falih will also conduct a four-day “Filmmaking via mobile phones” seminar, in addition to discussions on the participating films.
The festival, chaired by Iraqi director Mohammed Shukri Jamil, will honour Jordanian artist Yasser Al Masri, Petra added.
