Jordan industry delegation reviews cooperation with Bosnia

AMMAN — The Amman Chamber of Industry and Jordan Chamber of Industry on Sunday discussed trade relations with the Minister of Economy of Sarajevo Canton, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Discussions also focused on means to develop trade, the possibility of signing a free trade agreement between Jordan and Bosnia, visa abolition and direct transport between the two countries.

During his participation in the 2022 Sarajevo Business Forum, Tamim Qasrawi, a member of the Board of Directors of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry, reviewed “the reality of the Jordanian industrial sector”, the impact of the pandemic and the Russian-Ukrainian war on supply chains.

Qasrawi also highlighted ways to preserve strategic stocks, urging stakeholders to benefit from investment opportunities in Jordan.

President of the Jordan-Bosnia Association for Friendship and Business Anas Nayroukh stressed the importance of the Jordanian delegation's visit and participation in the forum.

On the sidelines of the forum, meetings were held with the Ministry of Investment in Bosnia, representatives of the government of North Macedonia, several municipalities, investors, and the Chamber of Commerce of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
