Jordan to host 3rd ministerial meeting of Stockholm Initiative for Nuclear Disarmament Wednesday

AMMAN — The Kingdom will host the third ministerial meeting for the Stockholm Initiative for Nuclear Disarmament and the Non-Proliferation Treaty on Wednesday, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.

Invited by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas, Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde, foreign ministers of the initiative’s member states as well as the United Nations General Secretary Antonio Guterres will attend the virtual meeting.

Following the meeting, Safadi, Maas and Linde are scheduled to hold a press briefing.
