AMMAN — The Jordan Gaming Lab, a King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD) project, on Saturday welcomed a team of experts from Unity Technologies, the developer of the Unity game engine, to update Jordanian game developers and electronic gaming companies on the latest features in the field.
The Jordan Gaming Lab organised workshops and training sessions, in partnership with the expert team, delving into technical areas and exploring the diverse functionalities of the Unity engine.
At Hussein Technical University, the expert team led a specialised training workshop that covered topics such as the State of Unity and an introduction to Unity, according to a KAFD statement.
Similar training workshops were also held for interested students at the University of Jordan.
Additionally, the lab's mobile unit embarked on a tour to Mount Nebo in Madaba Governorate, where it met with a group of game developers.
The Unity game engine enjoys widespread usage among Jordanian electronic game developers.
Established in 2011, the Jordan Gaming Lab strives to support the electronic gaming industry in Jordan, foster awareness about its significance among the younger generation, and networking between Jordanian youth and global gaming companies.
