AMMAN — The Kingdom’s daily exports of fruits and vegetables to Iraq and the Gulf states are increasing, with over 4,500 tonnes of local produce exported on Friday, Ministry of Agriculture Spokesperson Nimer Haddadin said on Saturday.
A total of 245 refrigerated trucks carrying 4,660 tonnes of fresh produce left for Iraq and the Gulf on Friday, Haddadin told The Jordan Times. The demand for Jordanian fruits and vegetables in the Gulf states is increasing, Haddadin said, underscoring that exports are expected to continue rising.
