Jordan, Egypt sign memo on energy cooperation

AMMAN — Energy Minister Ibrahim Saif and his Egyptian counterpart Tarek El Mulla on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding to use infrastructure in both countries to re-export natural gas, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The signing came as part of Saif’s visit to Egypt to discuss cooperation in the energy sector, natural gas and joint projects. The memorandum also outlines investment opportunities, workshops related to technical and financial issues, and means to exchange expertise.
