Jordan, Egypt to cooperate on nuclear energy

AMMAN — Jordan and Egypt on Sunday discussed a memorandum of understanding to be signed this week on peaceful applications of nuclear energy.
Chairman of the Jordan Atomic Energy Commission Khalid Toukan on Sunday met with acting minister of Egypt’s ministry of electricity Hasan Hasanain and discussed ways to cooperate in the use of nuclear for peaceful purposes.
The Kingdom has previously signed cooperation agreements with Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
