Jordan donates mobile neonatal unit to Palestinian healthcare centre

RAMALLAH — Jordan’s Ambassador in Palestine Khaled Shawabkeh on Wednesday officially presented Palestinian Health Minister Jawad Awwad with a mobile neonatal unit for premature babies.
The facility was provided to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah as a grant from the Jordanian embassy.
Shawabkeh said the unit, the first in the complex, is a Royal makruma presented to the Palestinian people.
Awwad referred to Jordan as “the lung of Palestine” and thanked the Kingdom for its continuous support, especially in the health sector.
