Jordan denounces ‘cowardly’ terrorist attack in Egypt

AMMAN — Jordan on Saturday denounced a terrorist attack that targeted a water-lifting station west of Egypt’s Sinai that left a number of Egyptian armed forces personnel killed and injured.

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Haitham Abu Al Foul expressed the Kingdom’s denouncement of this “cowardly” terrorist attack, reiterating Jordan’s support for Egypt’s anti-terrorism efforts, according to a ministry statement. He also voiced the Kingdom’s condolences to the victims’ families and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
