Jordan congratulates Bahrain for ‘huge success’ in polls

AMMAN — Jordan on Monday congratulated Bahrain for the “huge” success of the parliamentary and municipal elections.

At a meeting with Bahrain’s King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh commended Bahrain’s modernisation and development drive and progress made in this regard.

Discussions also covered prospects for further cooperation, in addition to the latest regional developments.

Also on Monday, the minister met with Bahrain Crown Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifah and wished him a speedy recovery from an ailment.

Judeh also held talks with his Bahraini counterpart that focused on ways to boost bilateral cooperation ties.
