Jordan condoles Kuwait over death of 2 army personnel

AMMAN — The Foreign Ministry on Thursday expressed its sincere condolences and sympathies to the Kuwaiti government and people over the martyrdom of two servicemen and the injury of others while carrying out night drills with live ammunition.

The Ministry spokesperson Sufian Qudah, reiterated the Kingdom's full solidarity and support for the Kuwaiti government and people over this painful incident.

Qudah also expressed sincere condolences and sympathies to the victims' families, wishing the injured a speedy recovery, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.

Also on Thursday, the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) expressed its deepest condolences following the death of the two Kuwait Land Force personnel.

The JAF also offered its sympathies to the families of the deceased servicemen and wished a speedy recovery for those injured in the incident.
