Jordan condemns ‘terrorist’ attack in Morocco

AMMAN — Jordan has condemned a “terrorist attack” targeting the city of Es-Semara in Morocco, reaffirming its support for Morocco’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

In a statement on Saturday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Jordan’s solidarity and support for Morocco’s legitimate sovereign rights in the Moroccan Sahara.

The ministry’s spokesperson Fouad Majali expressed support for the measures Morocco takes to protect its security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, stressing Jordan’s rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism that seek to undermine security and stability.
