AMMAN — Jordan on Saturday denounced two terrorist attacks in Iraq. The first attack targeted a funeral procession in Salah Al Din governorate, Northern Iraq, and the other in Diyala Province against security forces, leaving dozens of people killed and wounded.
Condemning the attacks, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Daifallah Fayez stressed Jordan’s support to Iraq in the face of all challenges and threats to its security, according to a Foreign Ministry statement. He also expressed condolences to the victims’ families and wished the injured a speedy recovery, the statement said.
