Jordan condemns terror attacks in Afghanistan, Russia

AMMAN — Jordan on Thursday "strongly" condemned terrorist attacks that took place in St Petersburg in Russia and the Afghan capital Kabul, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.  Minister of State for Media Affairs Mohammad Momani expressed the Kingdom's condemnation of the bombings in which 40 innocent people were killed in Kabul and 13 were injured in Saint Petersburg.

Momani, who is also the government spokesperson, called on the world to unite against terrorism and address its causes and roots. He reiterated Jordan’s solidarity with Russia and Afghanistan in their fight against terrorist and criminal groups, expressing condolences to the families of the victims and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
