Jordan condemns terror attack on Erbil airport

AMMAN — The Foreign Ministry on Tuesday condemned a terrorist attack that targeted Erbil International Airport, which resulted in the death of a person and the injury of others.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Deifallah Fayez stressed the Kingdom's strong condemnation of this "cowardly terrorist act" that aims to undermine security and stability, and contradicts with all human values and principles, according to a ministry statement.
Fayez also reiterated Jordan's firm stance against all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism that target people indiscriminately. He expressed condolences to the victim’s family and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
