Jordan condemns terror attack in El Arish

AMMAN — Jordan on Thursday condemned the terrorist attack that targeted Egyptian security personnel in El Arish, which resulted in the death of several soldiers and injuries to others.

Government Spokesperson Mohammad Momani reaffirmed the Kingdom’s rejection of such acts, through which terror organisations seek to destabilise Egypt and the security of its citizens, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Momani, who is also the minister of state for media affairs, voiced Amman’s support for Cairo in its endeavours to fight terrorism and extremism, and offered the government’s condolences to the Egyptian people and families of the victims.
