Jordan condemns storming of Saudi cultural attaché building in Khartoum

AMMAN — Jordan on Wednesday condemned the armed storming and sabotage of the Saudi cultural attaché building in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, on Tuesday.

A Foreign Ministry statement expressed Jordan's solidarity with Saudi Arabia, and its denouncement of all forms of violence and vandalism, especially acts that target diplomatic buildings.

The ministry also stressed the need to respect international law and relevant international agreements, especially the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.
