Jordan condemns Qassim security checkpoint terror shooting

AMMAN — The government on Monday condemned the shooting by three terrorists of a security checkpoint in Al Qassim, Saudi Arabia, which caused the death of one Saudi security officer and a Bangladeshi resident, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Minister of State for Media Affairs and Government Spokesperson Jumana Ghunaimat stated that Jordan condemns this "cowardly terrorist act", and stressed Jordan’s full support for Saudi Arabia in its fight against terrorism, which attempts to destabilise the country and threaten its peace and security.
