Jordan condemns Iran’s missile, drone attacks on Kuwait

AMMAN — Jordan on Thursday condemned Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting Kuwait, as a “flagrant violation of the Gulf state’s sovereignty and a threat to regional security and stability.”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the attacks in a statement as a “blatant breach” of international law and the United Nations Charter.

The ministry reaffirmed Jordan’s full solidarity with Kuwait and expressed support for all measures taken by the Gulf nation to safeguard its sovereignty, security, territorial integrity, and the safety of its citizens and residents.

The ministry also reiterated Jordan’s rejection of any actions that undermine the security and stability of Kuwait.
