AMMAN —Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Sunday held a phone call with Omani Foreign Minister Badr Busaidi, during which he condemned the Iranian attack on Oman and reaffirmed Jordan’s full solidarity with Muscat in protecting its security and sovereignty.
Busaidi, in turn, denounced Iranian attacks targeting Jordan, stressing that his country stands with the Kingdom and supports any measures taken to protect its security and stability, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
Both ministers highlighted the need to unite efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region and emphasised dialogue and diplomacy as the path to consolidating security and stability.
