Jordan condemns Houthis’ attack on Saudi border village

AMMAN — The Foreign Ministry on Tuesday condemned the Houthis’ launch of a projectile that fell on a border village in Jizan in Saudi Arabia that resulted in the injury of five civilians.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Deifallah Fayez voiced the Kingdom’s condemnation of this terrorist act that targets innocent civilians, which forms a clear violation to international humanitarian law, according to a ministry statement.
Fayez also stressed that the security of Jordan and Saudi Arabia is one, voicing the Kingdom’s support to Saudi Arabia and its solidarity with all procedures Riyadh takes to defend the security of its citizens. He wished the injured a speedy recovery.
